When creating the illusion of high cheekbones (see the how-to tips here) you’ll find that a great blush duo combining matte and shimmer shades will make it quick and easy.
Maybelline’s Expertwear blush duo has just what you need in one compact and comes in four shade duos: Twin Peach, Siamese Pink, Pair o’ Plums and Two to Glow.
At under $6 in most retail outlets, it fits your budget and is a great little spacesaver in the essentials-only make up bag.

We all want them. High cheekbones that give your face that sculpted look. We weren’t all born with high cheekbones, but you can fake what mother nature didn’t supply.
The skillful application of blush is the key to making your cheekbones stand out. First you will need a powder blush in a deeper shade and a highlight powder, preferably with a slight shimmer. Choose shades that are complementary.
Apply the deeper color under the cheekbone with a brush in upward strokes stopping at the ridge of the cheekbone. This creates the shadow. Next, apply the highlight powder over the “apple” of your cheeks. If you don’t know how to find the apple of your cheeks, smile widely at the mirror. The most prominent part of your cheeks will form two “apples”. The contrast will create the look of higher and more prominent cheekbones.
