Purple is going to be one of the hottest colors for eyes this fall. And despite what you may think, everyone can wear purple.
Whether it’s plum or wine, berry or royal purple, lilac or lavendar, there is a shade to suit everyone. And it’s a very versatile color, lighter shades blend perfectly for daytime and deeper hues create a dramatic evening look.
Here are my three favorite purples:
Almay i-Color Shadow Trio This color trio is called For Browns but the lavendar is the color that will open up the eye and catch attention while the light and dark brown will enhance brown eyes.
Revlon Colorstay 12 Hour Eyeshadow Quads This quad is Berry Bloom. It has every shade of berry for either day or night. You can use the darkest shade for eyeliner and the lightest shade is perfect for highlighting the brow bone.
L’Oreal HiP These high intensity pigments in Charisma are vibrant and rich, making your eyes the dramatic focal point.

L’oreal Paris is moving this season’s colors from bland to bold with their new line of make-up called HiP, High Intensity Pigments. Gone are the days of the “natural” look, these products promise greater intensity and impact of color. The products are designed to be used to create either a “harmony” with harmonious colors blended to create a more understated look or a “disharmony” which takes advantage of bold and contrasting eye and lip colors. Both looks employ eyeshadow applied beyond the natural lid lines creating a look that is both dramatic and sophisticated.
HiP Make-up
The colors are bold and rich with names like Sassy, Dreamer, Elated, Mischief and Vivacious. If your goal is to be noticed this season, this is the look for you. The liquid foundation sells for $13.00, the eyeshadow duos around $7.00 and the lipcolor and cheek color sell for $10.00 each.
