Day 3 with Aquafresh White Trays

I examined my results after Day 3 of the Aquafresh test. Overall, I would say that there’s been a decent amount of whitening and this is evidenced by the fact that the teeth I haven’t included look dingy by comparison. I can see I am going to have to catch them up.

Smile

I haven’t minded using the trays, 30 minutes is not a lot of time to spend if you schedule it during a time of day when you are going to be relaxing and not eating or drinking.

The Pros:

* The trays are very soft and don’t scrape or cut your gums. They conform pretty well to your mouth.

* The trays are pre-filled which means that there is a lot less for you to do. Just position the tray and wait.

* The results are good enough that you will notice whitening in a reasonably short period of time. The three days to noticeable whiteness is accurate.

The Cons:

* The only con I can think of may be caused by my own klutziness. I ruined one tray completely by accidentally letting the gel strip inside touch my finger. It’s incredibly sticky and impossible to put back in the tray once it gets pulled out. Caution: do not touch the whitening gel inside the tray, it will stick to your fingers and ruin the tray.

The Aquafresh White Trays will retail at $34.99 for a seven day treatment. When compared to the price of cosmetic bleaching at your dentist, it’s a great bargain.

Journey to Whiter Teeth

Today I am embarking on an experiment. I am going to try a whitening product for teeth.

My teeth are not especially stained or dark, but everyone wants their teeth a little whiter and brighter, right? My bottom teeth will be my main focus as they are slightly darker than the top teeth and I want to try to match them up better.

Trays

Having obtained a free sample of Aquafresh White Trays, I am going to find out if all the claims they are making are true. The trays are used for seven days and they promise visible results in only three days.

I will be interested in seeing how comfortable (or uncomfortable) the trays are, the time invested and how much whitening results from my efforts.

Keep you posted.

Daring Definition Gel Eyeliner

Unfortunately my Avon daring Defifinition gel eye liner arrived without the brush to apply it so I have had to wait several days to try it. Now that I have tried it, I must say I like it very well.

Definition

I have never been one for painting eyeliner on, simply because I lack a steady hand at times. But using the correct brush, this gel formula glides on easily and smoothly. The color is as rich as they claim, with high-intensity pigments and a slight hint of pearlescence that gives it depth. The look is definitely dramatic but you can do thin, subtle lines - it’s all in how you apply it. Getting the exact look you want is much easier than with a pencil and the rich depth of the color is definitely worth it.

I wish the brush came with the product but Avon does sell a specifically designed brush for application. The amount of product is generous and the consistency is very nice, a gel formula that is easy to apply and yet thick enough to give you great definition.

The shade I used was Black/Brown Pearl but Daring Definition comes in Black Pearl, Brown Pearl and Navy Pearl.

Glazewear Liquid Lip Color by Avon

I have been wearing my Glazewear Liquid Lip Color by Avon for a few days now. Overall, I am pretty pleased with the depth of color and the infrequent need for reapplication.

Everyone likes the feel of a lip gloss, they naturally feel more moisturizing and application is a breeze. The only trouble is that it tends to wear off quickly and needs constant reapplication.

Glazewear

I figured the best way to test a liquid lip color was to go for a deep, rich color. What better test of its staying power? So I tried Real Red. The product feels a little thicker than some lip glosses but it’s very smooth and very moisturizing. I like the fact that it contains Vitamins A, E and C, all of which have great benefits for your skin.

If you are used to sheer color in a gloss, then you will be surprised by how rich this color is and how much coverage you get. I won’t say that it lasted all day, I did need to reapply once or twice but not too often. The color was a real red but not harsh, just rich and bright. My lips felt great with this on, and the softness lasted for a long time afterward. I felt this product was very protective for the lips as well as providing great color and coverage.

As Avon currently has Glazewear on sale for 1/3 of the normal price, I recommend you pick up a couple. It comes in 27 shades!
