I love my spring collection of lip glosses, light and sheer or drenched with color. But my new favorite lip makeup right now is my Line Stylist Lipliner by Maybelline.
For a long time my favorite eye liner was a Line Stylist. It’s time to get a new one, or two, as I used it so much it’s just about gone.
What makes these liners so great is the fine, precision line they make. The twist-up mechanism makes the liners self-sharpening and you get a very thin and easy-to-control tip.
The lipliner has a slanted tip for better application. It’s also enriched with Vitamin E so it glides on smooth and creamy and of course, prevents feathering and bleeding of your lip color. For lipstick I would line only the outer line of lips but for glosses, apply over the entire lip to make a base that will extend the wear time of the gloss.

I have been wearing my Glazewear Liquid Lip Color by Avon for a few days now. Overall, I am pretty pleased with the depth of color and the infrequent need for reapplication.
Everyone likes the feel of a lip gloss, they naturally feel more moisturizing and application is a breeze. The only trouble is that it tends to wear off quickly and needs constant reapplication.
I figured the best way to test a liquid lip color was to go for a deep, rich color. What better test of its staying power? So I tried Real Red. The product feels a little thicker than some lip glosses but it’s very smooth and very moisturizing. I like the fact that it contains Vitamins A, E and C, all of which have great benefits for your skin.
If you are used to sheer color in a gloss, then you will be surprised by how rich this color is and how much coverage you get. I won’t say that it lasted all day, I did need to reapply once or twice but not too often. The color was a real red but not harsh, just rich and bright. My lips felt great with this on, and the softness lasted for a long time afterward. I felt this product was very protective for the lips as well as providing great color and coverage.
As Avon currently has Glazewear on sale for 1/3 of the normal price, I recommend you pick up a couple. It comes in 27 shades!

You may have noticed how many skin care products incorporate vitamins into their formulas and use the addition of vitamins in their advertising to convince you of their efficacy. But do you actually know what these vitamins do for your skin?
Vitamin E is often used topically. Vitamin E applied to wounds has been shown to promote healing and be soothing even on third degree burns. It also provides the added benefits of reduced scarring and inflammation.
Vitamin E is a powerful anti-oxidant that can prevent free radical damage. Because sun and other environmental damage to the skin is induced by free radicals, there is reason to believe that Vitamin E can help prevent some of this damage to skin tissues, lessening premature wrinkles and discolorations.
So, if a product’s label proudly states it contains Vitamin E, now you know why it’s good for you.
